What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Educate healthcare providers on access-related programs and processes for patient treatment
- Address and resolve access and reimbursement issues to enhance the patient experience
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare provider accounts and their support staff
- Conduct educational in-services on coverage pathways, prior authorization, and patient support services
- Support continuity of patient access through proactive education on reauthorization requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in life sciences preferred
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, market access, or specialty pharmacy
- Strong understanding of Medicare and the healthcare field
- Proven track record of successful collaboration across functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degrees (RN, MSN, MBA) are a plus
- Experience working with provider offices or patient assistance programs
- Strong patient-centric and service-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to lead without authority
- Familiarity with HIPAA rules and regulations
