      Position Summary:

      The Patient Access Representative is one of the first people patient's encounter. This position is an integral part of providing patients with the best care and giving them a great patient experience. The Patient Access Representative is responsible for gathering necessary data, entering appropriate data into computer-Epic, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and appropriately signed by patient in order to register and admit patient for inpatient or outpatient services. Great customer service skills a must.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      High School diploma or GED required.

      A minimum of one (1) year related work experience in a health care setting or two (2) years customer service experience.

      Hours:

      Evening shift Hours 3pm-11:30pm weekend work required-must work every other Saturday and Sunday. Will get addl shift differential for weekend and evening work.

      MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TRAIN DURING THE DAY SHIFT FOR THE FIRST 4 WEEKS, 8:30-5.
