Job Description
- Req#: 352936
- Greet all patients and visitors; guide them to appropriate areas as needed.
- Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update patient profile.
- Collect payment and/or assist patient with minor billing concerns.
- Scan pertinent information into EMR system (HIPPA compliance, authorizations, medical records, etc.).
- Respond to non-medical patient emails and phone calls.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting, OBGYN a plus.
- General knowledge of medical terminology.
- Preferred experience working with an electronic medical records system, eCW a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and high-stress atmosphere.
- Ability to communicate and work efficiently with patients, co-workers, and providers.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
