      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Schedule patient appointments for various services, including diagnostic and surgical procedures
      - Obtain and verify necessary demographic and insurance information from patients
      - Register patients and accurately enter data into the scheduling system
      - Meet individual quality metrics while providing professional and friendly service
      - Practice the employer's philosophy of service excellence in interactions with patients and families

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
      - Completion of the Patient Access training course
      - Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
      - Detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent customer service and communication skills
      - Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA and Medicare coverage structure

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
      - Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR)
      - Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole
