What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Pre-register and schedule patient appointments for assigned services in a courteous manner
- Direct calls to appropriate areas for services not provided within Patient Access Scheduling
- Ensure timely distribution of information and material requests
- Schedule, admit, and pre-authorize insurance for patients within the assigned area
- Serve as the first point of contact, assisting patients in navigating the healthcare system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate of Arts Degree or completion of a medical terminology program
- 2 years of experience in a medical setting
