What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to a high volume of appointment requests via telephone, email, and electronic messages
- Schedule appropriate medical exams, procedures, and tests for patients
- Collect demographic information and perform insurance registration as needed
- Ensure accurate data entry for all appointment and patient information
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional phone etiquette
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Entry-level computer skills as specified by the department
- Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly within a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with scheduling software or healthcare management systems
