      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as the initial contact for patients and customers, providing assistance in-person and via telephone
      - Complete financial clearance activities prior to patient arrival to enhance the patient experience
      - Schedule appointments, complete referrals, and manage authorizations for visits
      - Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
      - Conduct pre-registration and registration activities for patients

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a computer and telephone, including written and verbal communication skills
      - Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
      - Experience in a healthcare facility with direct patient contact is preferred
      - Knowledge of medical insurance is preferred
      - Must not have been excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Successful completion of a vocational technical health unit coordinator, medical office specialist, or medical secretary program
      - Successful completion of a medical terminology course
      - One year of experience in a healthcare facility
