      Job summary

      We have an opportunity for one or two Patient Advisors to join our small friendly team at Lakeside Surgery in Lymm. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised and able to deal with enquiries in a pleasant and polite manner. Previous medical reception experience is desirable but not essential. You will need to be calm under pressure, and you will need to be flexible as you will be required to cover for sickness and holidays at short notice.

      Main duties of the job

      The ideal candidate will be well-motivated and friendly, enjoy working in a very busy environment, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively, showing empathy, care and assertiveness when appropriate. Excellent administrative and organisational skills are required as is the ability to use modern technologies. Suitable candidates must be able to work well within a team and respond positively to a rapidly changing environment. Own transport is desirable as work across two locations maybe required.

      About us

      We are a small friendly team, consisting of four GPs, two nurses, a management team and small admin team. The surgery is located in the village of Lymm, Cheshire with a branch surgery in nearby Grappenhall.

      The positions are for 15 - 19 hours per week, working days to be confirmed at interview but must also be available to cover for staff sickness and holidays as required. We offer five weeks holiday pro-rata, a staff uniform and membership of the NHS Pension Scheme.
