      Job summary

      Rock Healthcare are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and a great team player to join our friendly Practice as a Patient Advisor.

      In the patient advisor role, you will be front-of-house at our primary reception desk and will be responsible for welcoming visitors and managing patient enquiries on a daily basis.

      It is crucial to provide outstanding service to all patients, both over the phone and in person, whilst addressing any concerns and minimising complaints to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.

      This role is for 37.5 hours per week, between 08:00 and 18:30, Monday to Friday.

      Main duties of the job

      Your duties will include:

      - Checking in and registering patients;

      - Ordering medications / Prescription processing;

      - Scheduling appointments; Coordinating home visits;

      - Reception & Administration duties;

      - Navigating Clinical software systems.

      Additionally, staff members are expected to participate in monthly Practice meetings, taking minutes and preparing agendas as needed.

      Rock Healthcare is a long established, forward thinking and dynamic GP Practice currently serving around 9,500 patients. We are based at Moorgate Primary Care Centre in Bury.

      The site is a modern, purpose-built premises, containing a variety of primary care services to meet the needs of the local population.
