What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an average of 60-80 incoming and outgoing patient calls daily regarding medical bills
- Utilize the employer's platform to address patient questions via inbound chats and phone calls, as well as perform outbound call campaigns
- Lead the payment posting process and follow up on defaulted payments
- Meet assigned team and individual metrics related to satisfaction and collections performance
- Ensure effective communication with patients to resolve inquiries and issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls effectively
- Experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in patient advocacy or healthcare-related customer service
- Familiarity with medical billing processes
- Proficiency in using call center software or CRM systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations
- Bilingual skills are a plus
