What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an average of 60-80 incoming and outgoing patient calls daily regarding medical bills
- Utilize the employer's platform to address patient inquiries through inbound chats and phone calls, and conduct outbound call campaigns
- Lead the payment posting process and follow up on defaulted payments
- Meet assigned team and individual metrics related to satisfaction and collections performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
- Exceptional phone and listening skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of medical billing and collections processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role within the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with healthcare billing systems or platforms
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population
- Experience in handling payment processing and collections
