Job Description

- Assisting patients with available resources and support.
- Communicate with doctors, nurses, therapists, and other providers on behalf of the patient.
- Liaise with an insurance company on a patient's behalf.
- Provide for patients' education needs ranging from medical bills to information on a diagnosis.
- Help navigate treatment and care options.
- Assist with note taking during medical visits.
- Advocate for patient's needs when they can't speak for themselves.
- Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience in patient interactions and problem resolutions with patients, families and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Experience on a military site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
- Obtain provided American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
- On call requirements as part of a rotation if required.
- This position is unaccompanied.
- Ability to obtain a base security clearance is required.
- Must be able to relocate to Qatar for the duration of the contract.
- A valid passport in Country of Record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
