      Job summary

      This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced primary care administrator who is professional, enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated with a keen eye for detail.

      The role is varied, working across the practice in all administrative departments including reception. It will draw on your years of experience working as a primary care administrator.

      Main duties of the job

      The role will be cross departmental practice working with admin / secretarial responsibilities, document processing workflow, eRS worklists, estates protocols whilst also being part of our existing reception team. You will be working closely with all clinical and administrative primary care professionals.Redefining and implementing new patient services and managing patient caseloads. Liaising with Care Co-Ordinators across the PCN.You will be supporting patients with their personalised care and health monitoring requirementsmaking sure that appropriate support is made available to them and their carers and ensuring that their changing needs are addressed.

      Working as part of our reception team, support patients to manage their needs, answering their queries and supporting them to make appointments, processing patients requests and resolving queries

      Use Microsoft office suite of programmes for communication, record keeping, data analysis and audits

      Increase uptake and usage of the NHS App and expand patient online access

      Support transition to total triage

      Liaise with other PCN practices and their Care Co-Ordinators

      Signpost and refer patients to PCN Additional Roles health professionals

      Proactively identify and work with cohorts of patients to support their personalised care requirements

      Support Medical Secretary including eRS worklists,

      Liaise with the ME and complete MCCD protocols

      Support Data Quality Manager with QOF, IIF, PCF, read coding and summarising

      Support Practice Manager with IT and estates issues

      Provide coordination and navigation for patients and their carers across health and care services

      Support and follow up actions requested by the GPs, Practice Nurses, Practice Secretary, Administrator and Practice Manager

      Filing and general administrative duties assigned to you

      To ensure all the practice protocols and procedures are followed and maintained

      To attend training events

      To present yourself in a professional and polite manner at all times

      Any other duties as reasonably requested

      • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths

      • 7+ years of SystmOne experience

      • Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, Word, Outlook
