      Job Description

      We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and a background in managing front desk operations within a medical practice. This role involves greeting patients, managing wait times, handling intake processes, and maintaining accurate medical records.

      Responsibilities

      • Greet patients as they arrive and manage 20-minute wait times.
      • Assist patients with intake processes, including copying required documents.
      • Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles, and issue receipts.
      • Manage the cashier box and daily deposits according to company policies.
      • Process walk-in patients and visitors.
      • Answer phones and schedule appointments.
      • Manage medical records by maintaining, filing/scanning, and preparing them for schedules.
      • Ensure all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in a timely manner.
      • Process requests for medical records release and maintain appropriate logs.
      • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • High school graduate or GED required.
      • 1+ years of experience working within a medical practice or working front desk in a medical practice.

      Work Environment

      This position is based in a medical office environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The team consists of 2 Providers, 2 Medical Assistants, and 1 Clinic Administrator. The dress code is business casual, with black or khaki colored pants and a company top once provided. Closed-toe shoes are required.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
