- GCSE Grade C or above in English or equivalent
- Experience of dealing with customers / patients face to face and via the telephone.

Job summary
Wymondham Medical Partnership requires an enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated team providing quality customer service to our patients.
Hours to be agreed with successful candidate. (Up to 37.5 hours between (Monday -Friday 8am-6pm)
Main duties of the job
You will be IT literate and have excellent customer service and organisational skills with the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure as well as meet tight deadlines. You will have the ability to work methodically, efficiently and have great attention to detail. You will be a strong team player and have excellent communication skills and understand the absolute need for confidentiality as you will be dealing with sensitive information.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will provide an excellent administration service, using IT skills to process electronic requests to assist patients requesting help.
The post holder will receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional face to face or on the telephone.
The post holder will provide a high quality service within the Practice and will contribute new ideas to improve and enhance the teams performance.
The post holder will communicate effectively with patients, carers and team members, recognising that alternative methods of communication will be required on occasion.
The post holder will use their own initiative when dealing with problems and make any reasonable decisions on events as they occur.
The nature of this post requires confidentiality to be of paramount importance and the practices policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and protection of personal and sensitive data should be adhered to at all times.
