      Responsibilities

      • Accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
      • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit and must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to function as the unit secretary on a patient care area.
      • Responsible for activities of patient care which involve activities of daily living and must be able to work as a unit secretary to a busy patient care unit.

      Qualifications

      Job Requirements:

      • High School diploma or equivalent
      • BLS Certification (upon hire)
      • Age appropriate patient care and/or healthcare clerical experience

      Preferred Job Requirements:

      • Previous Nurse Aide or Unit Clerk experience
