- Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
- Work in partnership with the registered nurse to support patient care.
- Monitor patients at timed intervals, document data as directed, and report observations and patient concerns to the registered nurse.
- Obtain and record patients vital signs accurately.
- Respond promptly to all call lights.
- Assist patients with mobility and basic tasks, such as bathing, dressing, eating and other ADLs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in purposeful hourly rounding and bedside shift report as directed.
- Perform direct and indirect patient care duties as assigned and may provide clerical support to assigned unit
High School diploma or GED
Basic Life Support certification
Knowledge of patient care procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy
- Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification
