Part-Time - 3pm - 3:30am Shift
- 24 hours per week.
- Flexible weekend shifts.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- must be accepting a position with a 0.6 FTE or higher.
- cannot be a Parkview rehire from a bonus-eligible position within the last 2 years.
- cannot owe a balance on a previously paid Parkview bonus.
- cannot be a current Parkview employee in a bonus-eligible position.
SUMMARY
The 4 & 5 Medical unit is located on the 4th and 5th floors at Parkview Randallia. It is a 40 bed Med Surg unit with varying levels of acuity and patient ages. Patients could be a combination of post-surgical and medical.Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity delivers a variety of high quality, basic patient care services that meet the needs and uniqueness of assigned patients. Is responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence; and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED. If candidate is at least 18 years of age but does not have a current High School diploma or GED, must meet the following requirements:Must be actively working towards High School Diploma or GED and receive within 1 year of hire AND have a current CNA certification or have participated in a Health Occupations Education (HOE) program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must meet one of the following requirements:
- current CNA, EMT, or paramedic certification
- 2 or more years of work experience in a healthcare-related field
- currently enrolled in nursing school having completed first clinical rotation (transcripts required)
- must be able to complete a mandatory fulltime, two-week patient care training course
LICENSURE
Must have current CPR at or above the Healthcare Provider level from the American Heart Association or be able to obtain during Parkview-provided orientation class. CNA, EMT, or Paramedic certifications preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer one year minimum of experience working in the patient care setting, preferably as a patient care giver. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to attend all four days mandatory training: New Hire (Monday - all day), Patient Care and Epic (Tuesday-Thursday – all day).
