ESC of the Western Reserve Must meet one of the following:
Current CTWD Instructor’s License issued by the Ohio State Board of Education (Patient Care Technician 070994) or the ability to obtain one;
OR five (5) years of industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Health Sciences & Technology, Medical Terminology, Nutrition & Wellness, Patient Centered Care
OR a candidate with less than five (5) years of industry experience, may qualify to be approved by an alternative approval process;

Position: Patient Care Technician Instructor

Start Date: 25-26 SY
Salary Range: Competitive salary is commensurate with educational preparation and work experience in the field
Benefits: Based upon Auburn Career Center Board of Education policy
Work Schedule: 185 days per school year
Position Description:
An enthusiastic, student-centered teacher is needed to provide classroom instruction for Patient Care Technician Instructor courses, covering topics such as Health Sciences & Technology, Medical Terminology, Nutrition & Wellness, Patient Centered Care. The successful candidate will be both innovative and creative, while being deeply committed to the success of students. This teacher is responsible for preparing students to pass course exams and assignments. Furthermore, the teacher is responsible for coordinating, maintaining and supporting the required experiences and hours for student program completion.
