      The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting as a Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant. Candidates should also have experience assisting with sterile procedures or working in a procedural environment.

      Shift: 6:45am - 5:15pm

      Summary
      Function Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse
      Scope Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.

      Essential Job Functions
      Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team.

      Education
      Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

      Experience
      Required: None
      Preferred: experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant.

      Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
