      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls regarding billing inquiries and collection activities in a professional manner
      - Conduct collection activities on outstanding patient balances, offering payment arrangements as needed
      - Review and verify account balances, correcting errors and referring issues to other departments as necessary
      - Analyze insurance details and resolve questions regarding payments, adjustments, and benefits
      - Document actions taken on accounts and meet established quality and productivity standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - Minimum of one (1) year of experience in collections, customer service, or business office
      - Solid knowledge of Revenue Cycle functions, including registration, coding, and insurance billing
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      - Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Two (2) years of college or Business School education
      - Previous experience in a healthcare-related setting
      - Proficiency in using personal computers and various software programs
      - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
      - Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
