      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls regarding billing inquiries and collection activities
      - Perform collection activities on outstanding balances and offer payment arrangements when necessary
      - Verify account balances for accuracy and correct any errors found
      - Research patient complaints and inquiries, keeping patients informed throughout the process
      - Document actions taken on accounts using appropriate codes for trending and process improvement

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - Minimum of one (1) year of experience in collections, customer service, or a business office setting
      - Solid knowledge of Revenue Cycle functions, including coding, charge posting, and insurance billing
      - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
      - Proficiency in personal computer use and ability to navigate multiple systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Two (2) years of college or Business School education
      - Previous experience in a healthcare-related billing or collections role
      - Familiarity with health insurance processes and financial assistance programs
      - Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
      - Strong critical thinking skills to make sound judgments on patient accounts
