Job summary
Patient Coordinator
We are a large friendly NHS GP Practice based in Clifton with over 20,000 patients. We are seeking a committed part-time Patient Coordinator to join our wonderful Reception Team (37.5 hours per week).
Our Patient Coordinators require excellent communication, time management and IT skills, along with the ability to adapt their approach to meet the individual needs of our patients. The team jointly handle between 300-450 incoming phone calls per day, along with all walk-in enquiries. Call handling is a key element of the role, and as such would suit candidates with experience in a call centre environment.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with the public at all levels. A positive attitude and can-do approach are essential to ensure patients receive the best possible care. Candidates will be required to work a variety of shift patterns throughout the week (including evenings) to meet the needs of the modern NHS. Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness are essential.
