What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Place and receive phone calls to/from patients to gather payments for medical expenses
- Collect and document demographic, insurance, and other relevant information from patients
- Educate patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs
- Maintain knowledge of the expectations, processes, and procedures of the employer's clients
- Leverage internal technology platforms to research and resolve patient questions or concerns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service capacity
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/insurance coding and billing preferred
