What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete tasks in areas of registration, financial screening, and patient throughput
- Meet individual collection goals
- Maintain a positive experience for patients and caregivers
- Work as essential staff on weekends, holidays, and during disastrous events
- Deploy legal, ethical, and compliance-related documents during registration
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Associates Degree preferred
- Completion of Patient Access training course
- Experience in payment collection or customer service
- Basic mathematical skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines
- Understanding of insurance contracts and authorizations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole
