      Position Overview

      • Department: Virtual Safety Monitor (eSitter)
      • Schedule: 0645a-7pm Sat, Sun
      • Work Location: UAB-St Vincent's East, Trussville, AL

      What You Will Do

      Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.

      • Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
      • Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
      • Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
      • Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.

      What You Will Need

      Licensure / Certification / Registration:

      • BLS Provider preferred.

      Education:

      • High school diploma or GED required.
