What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process scheduling work assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Initiate contact with patients to pre-register and schedule appointments
- Conduct pre-registration and clinical screening
- Communicate insurance benefits, estimated costs, preauthorization, and payment options to patients
- Triage and transfer calls as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Three plus years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, and team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
