What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and audit VCUHS/VCU compliance with patient health information regulations
- Create policies and provide educational resources on patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
- Implement technological reviews and safeguards to protect patient information
- Serve as a resource for VCUHS/VCU workforce on privacy and security matters
- Analyze government regulations and develop plans for resolution and implementation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) or Certified in Healthcare Privacy & Security (CHPS)
- Minimum of five (5) years of HIPAA Privacy and Security healthcare experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
- Ability to research, analyze regulations, and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Three (3) years of experience in a compliance-related environment or academic healthcare center
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
