What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
- Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals
- Secure patient’s upfront payment and assist in finding financial assistance when needed
- Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims on hold and manage denials
- Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of two years of related experience
- Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities simultaneously
- Strong detail orientation and quality focus
- Excellent customer service skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous healthcare or medical billing experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
