What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, tests, and other services
- Handle incoming calls and manage follow-up and referral work queues
- Communicate effectively with patient care teams to ensure optimal care
- Complete patient checkout and schedule follow-up appointments as per physician orders
- Accurately enter data into the electronic health record while interacting with patients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in handling multiple service lines and scheduling
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
- Experience in patient identification, registration, and scheduling processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a patient access representative or in scheduling roles
