What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Patient identification, registration, and scheduling
- Full pre-registration of patients, updating guarantor information, and verifying insurance eligibility
- Coordinating the scheduling of services for patients
- Handling incoming calls, follow-up, and referral work queues
- Accurately entering data into the electronic health record while communicating with patients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous patient access representative or scheduling experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in data entry and electronic health records systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in patient access or scheduling in a healthcare setting
