What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, tests, and services
- Handle incoming calls and manage follow-up and referral work queues
- Communicate with patient care teams to ensure efficient care delivery
- Complete patient checkouts and schedule follow-up appointments as ordered by physicians
- Accurately enter data into the electronic health record while interacting with patients

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical healthcare experience, or 1 year of experience as a Patient Scheduler I, or 1 year of experience in a contact/call center
- Ability to manage scheduling across multiple service lines in a high-call volume environment
- Proficiency in data entry and patient registration processes
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work as part of a care team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Experience working in a healthcare setting or familiarity with healthcare terminology
- Previous experience with electronic health record systems
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes
