What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Patient identification, registration, and scheduling
- Support Population Management and Chronic Disease Management initiatives
- Complete pre-registration of patients and verify insurance eligibility
- Coordinate scheduling of services for patients
- Handle incoming calls, follow-up, and ticket scheduling
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1 year of clinical healthcare experience or 1 year experience as a Patient Scheduler I or 1 year experience in a contact/call center
- Completion of Healthcare Business Insight’s Patient Access Certification Program within six months of hire date
- Must complete designated HBI Courses within one year of hire
- Proficient data entry skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service role
