What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform appointment scheduling for patients, including testing, procedures, and clinician appointments
- Coordinate advanced scheduling guidelines for surgeons, resources, proctors, etc.
- Ensure accurate patient demographics and guide informed dialogue with patients regarding in-network coverages
- Manage conflict and resolve complaints effectively
- Formulate complete and accurate telephone encounter messages and route to appropriate Epic in-basket pool

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Short-term training in Medical Terminology
- Minimum of 18 months experience in a clinical setting
- Previous one-on-one experience with surgeons required
- Must pass EPIC competency for Registration at the completion of Epic Clerical Training class

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong IT knowledge
- EPIC experience
- Previous experience with healthcare insurance
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding
