Job summary
Flitwick Surgery has a great opportunity for a patient services administrator to join our team on a part-time basis working three days a week. We would also welcome applications from candidates looking for occasional/bank work to cover sickness and holidays.
There is more to this role than answering the phone and making appointments. We are looking for staff to join our busy patient services team, to help make a positive impact on our local community. We would welcome applications from organised, adaptable, and friendly individuals, who are keen to help us provide high levels of customer service.
Main duties of the job
About us
Flitwick is a busy surgery, run as a partnership and serving a practice population of 14,250 patients. The clinical team consists of GPs, minor illness nurses, pharmacists, a paramedic, practice nurses and HCAs. We are a training practice for GPs and also take part in medical research. We are part of Green Vale Health PCN.
Due to our location in Flitwick, a commuter town in rural Bedfordshire, the practice population is diverse, covering patients of all life stages. We have good links to the A6 and M1.
