      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as a liaison for patients, families, and providers, ensuring superior customer service and timely communication
      - Manage complex telephone calls and triage patient needs, resolving issues or escalating as necessary
      - Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including follow-up reminders
      - Communicate essential information regarding procedures and pre-requisites to patients
      - Maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Secretarial Certificate Program desirable
      - 2-3 years of related work experience in a hospital setting or medical environment preferred
      - Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
      - Strong computer skills, including proficiency with hospital systems and Microsoft Office products
      - Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information and demonstrate empathy towards patients

      - Experience in a customer service role within a healthcare setting
      - Familiarity with patient financial services and international resources
      - Previous experience in training or orienting new staff
      - Strong organizational and time management skills
