- Ensures the front desk area runs smoothly.
- Greets and checks patients in & out.
- Schedules patient appointments.
- Coordinates scheduling of incoming patient referrals.
- Serves as resource to staff regarding patient scheduling issues.
- Performs general office duties.
- Monitors inventory of various supplies.
- Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
- Performs pre-verification duties.
- Answers phones, takes messages, and routes phone calls when necessary.
- Collects co-payments from patients.
- Assists in coordinating physician schedules.
- Is a subject matter expert (and “go-to” person) for all processes, work rules, and duties within the reception area.
- Trains newly hired team members on department specific processes, work rules, and duties once the team member has undergone initial “new hire” training.
- Functions as liaison with BayCare Clinic and ABMC billing departments.
- Respects and maintains confidentiality.
- Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.
- A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.
- Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
- Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

BayCare Clinic General and Vascular Surgery is looking for a Patient Service Coordinator to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. No Holidays! No Weekends!

BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 20+ specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. Our newly renovated practice site is conveniently located within Aurora BayCare Medical Center, proving exceptional patient care to the greater Green Bay area.
