- Communicating with patients in person, by phone, and by email
- Administering pre-testing services such as retinal digital imaging
- Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments
- Office administrative tasks including processing mail, filing, and faxing
- Assistance with retail of eyewear products
- Ideally, you will have some customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Optical Industry experience isn't necessary, but is considered an asset
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers
- Solid proficiency in MS Office Suite
- A professional, approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Our Practice Coach is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest Patient Services Specialist at our optometric practice in Los Angeles, California. Our close-knit and supportive team is excited to have you join us!
As a Patient Services Specialist, you will perform patient support through administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, insurance verification, data entry, and are responsible for general office activities. Join us in advancing eye health and enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
This position is for full-time 30-40 hours a week, Monday to Saturday.
