      PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST - OUTPATIENT ONCOLOGY:

      CareerStaff Unlimited is hiring a qualified Patient Services Specialist for a full-time, 13-week contract position with one of our most valued clients in The Villages , FL! Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience working the front desk in a medical setting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment assisting a high volume of patients on a daily basis.       Hourly compensation: $19

      Shift: M-F, 8a-5p

      $200 Start/ $200 Completion bonuses!

      PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST - RESPONSIBILITIES:

      1. Greeting all patients and visitors coming into the office
      2. Collecting/documenting patient information in EMR and prepping patient charts
      3. Checking patients in/out
      4. Managing patient scheduling
      5. Verifying patient insurance
      6. Answering patient questions and addressing patient concerns
      7. Relaying patient messages to appropriate personnel
      8. Delivering exceptional customer service
      9. Managing multi-line phone systems
      10. Complying with HIPAA policies
      11. Maintaining patient medical records and processing medical records requests
      12. Navigating and updating EMR
      13. Requesting/processing referrals and authorizations
      14. Applying medical terminology knowledge

      PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST - JOB REQUIREMENTS:

      1. Minimum of 1 year of recent medical front office experience - Applicants with no medical front office experience will not be considered
      2. HS Diploma or GED required
      3. Background check and 10-panel drug screen with nicotine included
      4. Must be eligible to work in the United States
