We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist - Scheduler for our busy Dermatology located in NW Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.

      Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care.

      This position is primarily responsible for accurately scheduling all patient surgeries in an efficient and timely manner, obtaining all prior authorizations and benefit information, answering phones, scanning documents into our EMR system, updating/obtaining insurance information and medical records, and performing other duties as assigned while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of medical front office experience, excellent attendance, and the ability to multitask. If you can learn quickly, problem solve, and greet patients with a friendly, comforting demeanor while continually contributing to improving our patient experience.

      Workdays will be Monday to Friday (40 hours a week). No weekend or evenings are required for this position!

      Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

      Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.

      Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.

      Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.

      Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

      Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

      Qualifications:

      • 2 years of scheduling experience in a specialty clinic preferred.
      • Prior EMR experience preferred.
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Excellent attendance and work ethic
      • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
      • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers
