      Patient Sitter - Nursing Pool at Providence Little Company of Mary San Pedro Hospital in San Pedro, CA. This is a full time, night position that will work 12-hour shifts.

      Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Promotes the therapeutic milieu and the efficiency of the nursing team. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, unless the patient needs are such that adverse health consequences are predictable. Supports System and Nursing Strategic Plans, Relationship-Based Care, and Shared Leadership.

      Required qualifications:

      • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

      Preferred qualifications:

      • Training in nurses aid course or health care assistant upon hire.
      • 1 year Health care experience
