- BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo’s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity.
- The Patient Transporter is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients within the healthcare facility.
- This includes moving patients to and from various departments such as radiology, surgery, and patient rooms while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- The transporter also assists with equipment transport and maintains communication with nursing staff to facilitate seamless patient care.
High school diploma or equivalent if 18 or older.
Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift and move patients safely, often requiring physical exertion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
