      Job Description

      As a Patrol Officer you will provide armed security for all BIW facilities.

      • Follow all company and department operating procedures.
      • Write incident reports and maintain logs.
      • Must be able to work fixed posts, waterborne assignments and conduct walking checks of facilities.

      This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration and you must be able to obtain an interim security clearance within the first 45 days of hire.       Investigations & Clearance Process

      Required/Preferred Education/Training

      • High school graduate or GED required.
      • Must be able to work any of three 8-hour shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.
      • Must be willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime when required.
      • Must successfully complete psychological testing and medical review.
      • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

      Required/Preferred Experience

      • Police or security-related training preferred.
      • Minimum of one year in security-related field preferred.
      • Past work experience carrying a firearm as part of regular duties required.
      • Watercraft operations certified preferred.
