What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute audit projects, gaining client acceptance
- Train and mentor less-tenured team members
- Conduct complex audit projects with limited supervision
- Analyze paid claims and identify audit findings
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve tools and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or 4-6 years of related experience in healthcare
- At least 3-4 years of experience at Cotiviti recommended for internal candidates
- Knowledge of Coordination of Benefits and healthcare industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interest in working with large data sets and databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of Cotiviti policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements
- Ability to develop and implement new concepts and processes
- Experience onboarding and training new hires
- Proven record of recommending and implementing new ideas and technological improvements
- Familiarity with HIPAA laws and requirements
