- Supports other Payment Operations teammates
- Understanding assigned process and procedures as it relates to the job task and provide recommendations for improvements in areas of opportunity
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with the Bank’s BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
- Obtain general knowledge of records retention schedule as to adhere to applicable federal laws and national industry standards
- Ensure excellent service is provided to all internal partners and customers
- Identifies and resolves issues within assigned function
- Provide high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive information
- Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure; provide recommendations on areas of opportunities
- Ensures daily production goals or tasks are met and maintained with a high level of quality
- Required project participation as related to specific job duty tasks
- Comply with dual control standards as required
- Identify task related risks and communicate and/or lead the solutions to mitigate risks with processing controls
- Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products, services, including other lines of business with understanding of sales process as related to supported services
- Ability to implement, write and train on continuous procedure changes
- Provide quality customer service by answering incoming calls regarding a wide range of questions and inquiries
- Ability to perform all tasks related to daily processing of requests within established service level agreement timeframes
- Utilization of system tools and resources for remediation of any identified errors
- Provide quality assurance and controls of daily tasks
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of bank operations or financial industry experience required
- Experience with Digital banking platforms required
- Leadership experience including mentorship and training strongly preferred
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- High level of accuracy and great attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

This role requires an advanced understanding of Online banking systems and the process of setting up and maintaining client profiles within them. The Payment Operations Specialist III have advanced knowledge of digital banking platforms and the bank’s core data system. The candidate should also have an in-depth understanding of the Federal Regulations that govern the various digital banking solutions. This role will provide support and guidance to others in daily processing of retail and small business establishment, maintenance, and deletion of online banking requests. The candidate will provide support for phone lines, email, research requests, error resolutions and daily reporting and other tasks. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the development and improvement of all processes and teammates, as well as to the objectives of the team and line of business.
This role will be the primary resource to training other teammates, making sure procedures are updated with newly adopted tasks or changes within current tasks; participate in enterprise or business level projects and assist the Payment Operations Supervisor with task management. The candidate would be expected to assist with remediation of errors and complete daily and/or monthly statistic and metrics reporting. The candidate will understand all processing functions and aid in completion of system testing from time to time. The candidate will also identify and assist with processing controls and mitigation of risks. The specialist will frequently communicate with internal and external customers and prioritize the delivery of an excellent experience, using strong verbal and written communication skills with an experienced level of technical skills and the ability to recognize specific trends with ad-hoc and monthly reporting.
