- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and design troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to evaluate solutions or break down technical problems
- Develops thoroughly-considered high-quality product testing requirements and delivery roadmaps
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads collaboration sessions with internal teams and vendors to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, product credentials, and testing applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads product owner and SDLC standards across Stability & Resiliency organization to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
- Giving back to the technology center community and leading technology advancement workstreams
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as a product owner and/or testing automation experience with large enterprise applications for comparable companies
- Hands-on practical experience driving product design and delivery through the SDLC life cycle from ideation through launch and support
- Previous experience with Agile software development (or related experience) and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Executive-level presentation and facilitation skills, especially tailored to senior level leaders (written, verbal)
- Good working knowledge of merchant acquiring card authorization, capture, and settlement processing, including checkout, mobility payments, and merchant payouts
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Payments industry knowledge or related experience
- Advanced Product Owner skills (multi-period roadmap creation, value sequencing, business case writing)
- Strong knowledge and experience with technology development capabilities, especially with API’s, AI learning models, and system integration testing (software code, API’s, technical design)

As a member of the Payments Test Product team within the Payments Technology Stability and Resiliency organization, you’ll contribute to the product roadmap, end-to-end architecture and design for product testing capabilities used across the enterprise and hands-on review, design as needed of the technology products. You'll partner with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to continuously innovate, contribute to the product vision and the technology roadmap to correlate business strategy with technology outcomes. With your knowledge of architecture, design, product delivery, testing, and support, you will raise the bar even more, exceeding standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements.
As a Product Manager in Payments Test Product, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences.
