Daikin Applied is seeking a Payroll Administrator for our Plymouth, MN based payroll team! The Payroll Administrator is responsible for efficient, accurate and timely data entry, payroll processing, and report generation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, union, and company policies. Under general supervision, you will manage the payroll support email inbox and also partners with HR to resolve payroll related questions. Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

• Responsible for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy of all wage calculations, withholdings, deductions, and changes
• Review payroll process are in line with company philosophy and recommend internal control or efficiency enhancements
• Prepare routine reports to include year-end data, production reports and other requested items
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal wage and hour laws
• Maintain required payroll files and records
• Partner with Human Resources to resolve payroll related questions
• Partner with Human Resources to verify new hires, leaves, terminations, and pay adjustments are accurate ensuring accuracy in data entry
• Responsible for identifying union updates that affect payroll configuration
• Accurately complete and track certified payroll reporting to ensure compliance for prevailing wage jobs
• Manage payroll support email inbox
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years of payroll experience or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or above in accounting or similar discipline
• Experience with payroll software such as ADP, e-Time or Workday
