      Here at GXO, o ur Payroll Advisors support the day-to-day processing of the GXO payroll service, ensuring everything runs smoothly and ultimately that everyone gets paid accurately on time. If you’ve got previous experience as a payroller, we’d love to hear from you.

      This is a permanent role based out of our head office in Northampton, however we’re happy to consider a level of home/flexible working provided you’re able to attend the office as and when required.

      Pay, benefits and more:

      We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance.       What you’ll do on a typical day:

      • Enter payroll information into the ADP Global View payroll system, both manually and using the appropriate SSL loading feature
      • Update employee payroll records to include P45s, new starter declarations, tax and NIC data
      • Get involved in the resolution of any pay-related queries received either over the phone or through our query ticketing system, SNOW
      • Ensure that all payroll data and reports are routinely and proactively checked, with any errors being resolved in a timely manner

      What you need to succeed at GXO:

      • Previous experience in a similar payroll-focused role – if you have used ADP Global View, this would be a bonus
      • Up-to-date knowledge of HMRC guidance and payroll rules and regulations
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide a high level of customer service to your internal customers
      • Confidence in the use of IT systems, especially Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
