      *This position is responsible for the Analysist of one Bi-weekly and one Semi-monthly pay cycles. Auditing the data to ensure accurate and timely pays for all caregivers. Assists Department Leadership with monitoring processing compliance within the department, and helping to identify and create efficiencies.

      *4+ years of recent Direct Payroll Experience Highly Preferred*

      As a Payroll Analyst II, you will be helping to ensure that we have accurate payroll data and reporting. Your duties will include:

      • Assist in processing of Off cycle Payroll for All Pay Groups
      • Assist with running payroll jobs and leads the testing validation effort for
      projects as well as system updates.
      • Maintain departmental metrics while helping to develop new ones
      • Audit Payroll for one Bi-weekly and one Semi-monthly
      • Manage Fidelity negative wage file
      • Review integration errors and communicate with the appropriate area to
      get them resolved quickly.
      • Develop and process queries to audit payroll system and assist department
      as needed
      • Assist with department GL expense report
      • Process EIB’s to upload data into the payroll system
      • Maintain current Processing Procedures/Processing Manual/Risk
      Assessment
      • Assist in department projects, Tasks may include: creating project plans,
      defining requirements, creating test plans, conducting functional testing,
      and providing on-going training
      • Calculate and update loan forgiveness for caregivers
      • Help gather information for internal and external control audits
      • Assist in new Acquisitions and Mergers
      • Ensure compliance of all laws, regulations and company policies.
      • Collaborates with internal analysts & Managers

      Job Details

      Responsibilities:

      • Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information.
      • Provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and related issues.
      • Assists with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning.
      • Consults with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
      • Performs special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required.
      • Master’s degree preferred.
      • A High School diploma/GED and six years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirements.
      • An Associate’s degree and four years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirements.
      • A Master’s degree and one year of experience may substitute the experience requirements.
      • Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset substitute one year of required experience.


      Certifications:

      • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification preferred.


      Complexity of Work:

      • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
      • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


      Work Experience:

      • Two years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience required.
      • Healthcare experience preferred.


      Physical Requirements:

      • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
      • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
      • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
      • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
      • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
