      Job Description

      To ensure timely and accurate processing of all monthly payrolls for Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.

      This position interacts with various levels of personnel both inside and outside the company. That interaction requires good communication skills and judgement, tact and diplomacy with internal and external customers in troubleshooting problems and communicating status. Effectiveness in this role requires a thorough working knowledge of relevant payroll processes and systems, policies and procedures. Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position. Initiative and organisation skills are valuable to ensure the timely completion of a large volume of work, within short timelines. The position reports directly to the Payroll Team Supervisor

      Job Description

      Essential Functions:

      • Plan, coordinate and manage payroll, ensure that payroll cycles, posting, costing and accounting deadlines at multiple locations are adhered to by all parties.
      • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
      • Responsible for accurate and timely filing and payment of statutory payroll withholding taxes/social security contributions to relevant government authorities including FBT.
      • Provide comprehensive and timely responses to employees and managers, in accordance with Service Level Agreement
      • Resolve escalations by providing root cause analysis and corrective action for complex or non-routine situations
      • Responsible to update and align standard operating models including standard payroll report formats, SOP, checklist, payroll calendars, record keeping etc.
      • Keep abreast with payroll regulatory changes, review and analyze tax and legal regulations, identify issues/implications affecting company and employees and update related payroll process
      • Provides back-up support to team members as required.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree / diploma holder

      Experience

      • 3-5 years’ relevant experience in payroll with minimum 1 years of Philippines, Australia and New Zealand payroll experience in MNC or Shared Service environment.
      • Candidate has Payroll working experience for processing end to end payroll will be given preference.
      • Knowledge of ADP Systems, Workday system and Service Now ticketing system preferred.

      • Good interpersonal and communication skills of English
      • Able to interact with all levels, customers, vendors and primarily with employees, line managers, HR partners and HR Operation Team.
      • Strong customer commitment to timely and quality service.
      • Eye for details, especially payroll accuracy
      • High standard of confidentiality and compliance, in terms of private and confidential data management, documents and process control
      • Ability to multi-task, team player, self-motivated and accountable for delivering quality results per given timeline.
      • Good command of MS-Office (especially Excel).
